The Limacol Caribbean Premier League T20 (CPLT20)
Following last year's hugely successful inaugural tournament, the Limacol Caribbean Premier League T20 (CPLT20) is back, primed to thrill fans with high-intensity T20 cricket and certain to deliver a tournament that will be even bigger and better than the first. The tournament kicked off in Grenada on July 11 when the Guyana Amazon Warriors, finalists in last year's event, took on the Antigua Hawksbills, and continues through to the semifinals and final airing this month on ESPN.
The tournament features six top teams - including Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel, Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors and holders Jamaica Tallawahs, winners of last year's inaugural tournament - and boasts a lineup of global cricketing stars led by the Tallawahs' Chris Gayle, Barbados Tridents' Kieron Pollard and Trinidad and Tobago's Dwayne Bravo. See a replay of last year's final as the Jamaica Tallawahs take on the Guyana Amazon Warriors on the 2nd.
