Malaga make light work of Celta Vigo

Malaga eased their way to a fourth straight Primera Division win by beating Celta Vigo 2-0 thanks to early goals from Charles and Raul Albentosa.
Both goals were headers facilitated by suspect goalkeeping from Celta goalkeeper Ruben Blanco, whose miserable evening ended on 65 minutes when he was sent off for denying Nordin Amrabat a clear goalscoring chance.
Blanco's replacement Sergio Alvarez saved the Moroccan's effort from the spot but it proved to be just a single glitch on another positive match for Javi Gracia's side, who are now just four points from the European places.
The hosts got off to an ideal start when former Celta striker Charles met Roberto Rosales' looping cross to head beyond the stranded Blanco.
The keeper also failed to deal with Juanpi's corner midway through the half and towering defender Albentosa took full advantage to nod in Malaga's second.
Celta recovered from their awful start to reassert themselves in the game and midfielder Daniel Wass hit the crossbar before the break.
But Malaga had the better of their visitors again after the break and the victory was all but sealed when Blanco was given his marching orders, even though Amrabat failed to take advantage.
