Borussia Dortmund picked up their fourth straight Bundesliga win to pick up local bragging rights with a 3-0 victory over Schalke.
After being frustrated over and over again by Schalke goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke the deadlock in the 78th minute before, a minute later, Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed victory.
Marco Reus added a third as Dortmund gave a more realistic look to the result of a one-sided Revierderby.

Reus probably felt a curse had been placed on him as he saw Wellenreuther deny him again early in the second half.
Wellenreuther was stopping everything that Dortmund could throw his way, increasingly frustrating the home fans as all of the action continued to take place in the visitors' half.
Their persistence finally paid off with just over 10 minutes remaining when they finally got the rub of the green with a deflection putting Aubameyang through, and this time he picked his spot in the far corner before producing a Batman mask to celebrate in front of the Dortmund fans.
A minute later, Ilkay Gundogan sent in a cross from the right and Wellenreuther's slip allowed Mkhitaryan to stick out a leg and double Dortmund's lead.
Reus got the goal his game deserved when Wellenreuther ruined all of his good work by trying to be fancy in turning away from the Dortmund forward, who stuck out a leg and poked the ball in with five minutes remaining.
