Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace guides PSG to five-goal rout of Toulouse

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's fine form continued with a brace in Paris St Germain's 5-0 thrashing of Toulouse at the Parc de Princes.

The Sweden international made it nine for the season with goals in either half to heap further misery on Toulouse, who have won just once this campaign.

Angel di Maria opened the scoring in the sixth minute when his free-kick beat everybody to sneak in at the far post from 30 yards, his second goal in as many league games.

The former Manchester United man was also influential in the second goal, racing clear down the right before turning back and sending in a deep cross towards Ibrahimovic.

The striker headed back across goal but Toulouse defender Marcel Tisserand inadvertently headed back to Ibrahimovic, who nodded the ball into an empty goal to double the lead after 18 minutes.

Lucas Moura made it 3-0 just after the hour as PSG bounced back in style from their 1-0 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid in midweek - their first loss of the season in any competition.

Gregory van der Wiel was freed up on the right flank to swing a pinpoint cross in to the back post, and the diminutive Lucas rose higher than everybody else to head PSG further in front.

It became four when Di Maria's long-range effort was parried into the path of Ibrahimovic by Toulouse goalkeeper Ali Ahamada, and the 34-year-old Swede's miscued effort looped over the keeper and into the net.

Ezequiel Lavezzi came off the bench to wrap up the rout with 13 minutes of normal time to go, racing through before emphatically finishing beyond Ahamada to send Laurent Blanc's side 13 points clear of nearest challengers Lyon and St Etienne, who face each other on Sunday.
