Lucas Perez maintains scoring touch as Deportivo sink Celta Vigo

Lucas Perez's eighth goal of the season helped Deportivo emerge from a five-game winless slump with a 2-0 Primera Division win over Celta Vigo.
The striker, who has now scored in three consecutive matches, scored a controversial opening goal in the 23rd minute after Jonathan Rodriguez went through on goal - only to see his shot saved by Sergio Alvarez.
Perez was on hand to score from the rebound, despite claims from the visiting defence that the in-form striker was in an offside position when Rodriguez took the initial shot.
Deportivo held out for the win, and the lead was doubled right at the death when Jonny Castro spectacularly put the ball into his own net with a failed clearance from 40 yards out.
It could have been very different however, after Nolito missed from the spot.
Iago Aspas was brought down inside the area by Fernando Navarro, but Nolito's spot-kick was well-saved by German Lux.
The forward had previously been denied by the keeper after he could only manage a weak shot from the edge of the area .
After Perez opened the scoring, Deportivo could have gone further ahead through Rodriguez. The Uruguayan cut back onto his right foot just inside the area, but his shot sailed over the bar, before seeing a subsequent shot kept out by Alvarez.
The home side continued to prosper, and were unlucky not to be further ahead by the time Castro put past his own keeper as Celta desperately pushed forward looking for an equaliser in stoppage time.
