Rayo Vallecano 3-1 Granada

Rayo Vallecano took another step towards securing Primera Division survival by coming from behind to beat struggling Granada 3-1 at home.
Jhon Cordoba gave the visitors the lead in the eighth minute but after periods of sustained pressure Alberto Bueno levelled for Rayo midway through the second half and 10 minutes later put them ahead, before substitute Adrian Embarba scored a third in stoppage time.
This was a third consecutive home win for Rayo, who move up to 11th position in the table and 10 points ahead of 19th-placed Granada.
The Andalusians went into the game in confident mood after beating Malaga last week, while Rayo were looking to move on quickly from their 6-1 thrashing at Barcelona.
The Madrid side's high defensive line was exposed to devastating effect by the Catalans and Granada also used it to their advantage to take an early lead.
Former Rayo forward Ruben Rochina brought the ball forward from the right hand side and his diagonal through ball split the defence, whose attempt to play the offside trap failed miserably, and Cordoba had plenty of room to pick his spot and and fire through the legs of Cristian Alvarez.
Rayo were quick to respond. Roberto Trashorras picked the ball up from deep and sailed a cross into the box which Bueno flicked towards the far corner, but Oier Olazabal dived low at full stretch to palm the ball wide of the far post.
Trashorras was again the launchpad for Rayo's next attempt, and this time Ze Castro headed the midfielder's free-kick onto the crossbar.
Rayo continued to take the initiative after the break and eventually got their reward.
Manucho brought down a long ball on the right hand side of the box and turned his marker to hook a low cross for Bueno to turn in off the crossbar and over the line, following up the rebound to make sure.
Rayo coach Paco Jemez recently talked of his dislike for drawing matches so it should not have surprised anyone that once his team were level, they went all out for a winner.
Gael Kakuta cut inside from the right wing to swing the ball into the box and towards goal, and Bueno slid in to get a vital touch to take the ball beyond Oier.
This was the Spaniard's seventh goal in three matches and saw him become Rayo's all-time top scorer in the Primera Division.
Granada then kicked back into life in search of an equaliser but left themselves woefully exposed to the counter, and after several attempts Rayo got their third goal deep in stoppage time.
Kakuta raced into the box unchallenged and spotted Manucho. Oier managed to parry the striker's shot but only as far as Embarba, who nudged the ball into the empty net.
