Manolo Gabbiadini's away goal in the first leg of Napoli's Coppa Italia semifinal with Lazio handed his side a slender advantage before next month's decider.
Veteran striker Miroslav Klose gave Lazio the lead after 33 minutes at the Stadio Olimpico, latching onto Felipe Anderson's sumptuous through-ball before slotting it underneath Mariano Andujar.
But holders Napoli hit back to make it 1-1 through Gabbiadini. The Italy international, who arrived from Sampdoria in January, tapped home Gonzalo Higuain's slide-rule pass in the 58th minute.
Reigning Serie A champions Juventus contest the other semifinal with Fiorentina in Turin on Thursday.
