Celta Vigo claim bragging rights

Celta Vigo claimed a Galician derby double as second-half goals from Charles and Joaquin Larrivey earned them a 2-0 victory at Deportivo La Coruna.
Celta earned a 2-1 home victory in the first clash between the rivals in September and Charles' deft chip 36 seconds into the second half set them on the road to another win, with Larrivey's late close-range strike making sure after a defensive mix-up at the Riazor.
Deportivo were reduced to 10 men in the 73rd minute when centre-back Alberto Lopo was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Celta's second successive league victory moved them above Espanyol into eighth, with 31 points gleaned from their 24 matches. Defeat leaves Deportivo 15th, five points clear of the relegation zone.
Deportivo defender Pablo Insua fanned the flames ahead of Saturday's encounter by insisting that his side was the biggest team in Galicia, and it appeared to spur on Celta, who started the match brightly.
Deportivo goalkeeper Fabricio had to be alert to tip winger Augusto Fernandez's blistering 20-yard strike over the crossbar in the sixth minute while, at the other end, winger Lucas missed with a long-range shot of his own in a lively first 10 minutes.
Fabricio comfortably saved Nolito's speculative effort five minutes later and opposite number Sergio punched another Lucas shot to safety midway through the first half.
Deportivo central midfielder Celso Borges lined up a 30-yard free-kick on the half hour after he was fouled by Michael Krohn-Dehli and, although he struck the ball well enough, he could not keep his strike on target and it sailed well over Sergio's crossbar.
The first half then petered out but the second was only 36 seconds old when Brazilian striker Charles gave Celta the lead in fine fashion.
Deportivo gave the ball away deep in Celta's half but the visitors broke at break-neck speed and, after Fabian Orellana fed Charles on the right-hand side of the penalty area, he executed a deft chip over Fabricio to stun the majority of the Riazor crowd into silence.
Deportivo manager Victor Fernandez responded by sending midfielders Isaac Cuenca and Wander Helder Costa on for Martinez Jose Rodriguez and Ivan Cavaleiro.
Oriol Riera should have drawn Deportivo level in the 70th minute but he could only watch on in horror when his close-range shot hit the crossbar and bounced to safety.
Deportivo's chances of rescuing something from the encounter were dealt a blow three minutes later when Lopo was sent off for a second bookable offence after tripping Charles and, nine minutes later, Celta doubled their lead.
Joaquin Larrivey, on for Charles, pounced on a mix-up from left-back Pinto Luisinho and keeper Fabricio to stroke the ball into an empty net and seal all three points, and bragging rights, for his side.
