Granada 1-1 Real Betis

Granada temporarily moved off the bottom of the Primera Division after drawing 1-1 at home to fellow Andalusians Real Betis.
Dimitri Foulquier gave the hosts the lead after just two minutes by pouncing on an error by Betis defender Heiko Westermann, but Ruben Castro saved his team-mate's blushes by levelling from the penalty spot later in the first half.
Betis climb up to ninth spot thanks to the point, while Granada go up to 18th, a point ahead of Levante and Las Palmas, but are still without a win since August.
Jose Ramon Sandoval's side got off to the perfect start thanks to a gift from Westermann. The German centre-half panicked on the ball while trying to play out from the back and was dispossessed by Foulquier, who made the most of the opportunity to stick the ball past Antonio Adan
The Betis goalkeeper made two saves in quick succession to deny Isaac Success and Javi Marquez from doubling Granada's lead, but then the hosts allowed their opponents right back into the game by offering them a gift of their own.
Ruben Perez inexplicably swatted a high ball into his side's area with his hand, offering the referee no option but to give a penalty. Castro made the most of the opportunity, sending Andres Fernandez the wrong way to level.
